Monica saved me!! I really mean it! I broke out in hives all over my body--literally from head to toe. I've never had hives before, so I assumed they would just go away after a few days. Well, after 10 days of unbearable itching (even while taking benedryl), I went to the Doctor. He didn't have any remedy and said to wait 2 more weeks to see if they'd go away. I thought I would go crazy from the itching! That's when I called Monica.

I was getting at least one migraine every week when I first went to Monica Legatt for treatment. Her acupuncture sessions, herbal combinations and dietary advice have played a major role in reducing headache incidents to an average of one a month. Though I have since learned to avoid certain migraine triggers, and have added a B2 supplement to my anti-migraine regimen, I credit my work with Monica for the largest part of my improvement as it was under her care that I first saw a reduction in headache frequency.

After having intense heel pain from running and hiking for about six months I started receiving acupuncture treatments. I've been an avid runner for 20 years (3-4 runs per week) and found myself unable to run more than once or twice a week due to deep heel pain. I tried acupuncture after reading an article in a national magazine and having several friends tell of successful acupuncture treatments. I found that acupuncture combined with massage greatly eased my pain and has allowed me to start increasing the frequency and length of my runs. I would strongly suggest acupuncture as one way of healing/easing heel or general foot pain.

During my stay in Seattle last December you treated me for my endometriosis while I was in between cycles for IVF treatment. You also prescribed some Chinese herbs for me to take with me when I returned to France. Well, I have great news and want to extend to you my deepest appreciation for all of your help.

My CA125 (blood test marker for endometriosis) dropped from the 300's down to the 50's. I think the benefit of the acupuncture treatments and Chinese herbs are difficult to dismiss. My IVF cycle resulted in a positive, and as of today, I am seven weeks pregnant, complete with healthy measurements and a strong heartbeat on ultrasound.
